Nature Math Explorers
Age: 3-5
Time: 9:30 AM - 11.30 AM
Math comes alive outdoors! Children use leaves, stones, and pinecones to count, sort, and discover patterns hidden in the natural world. Through hands-on play, they explore shapes, size, length, and position — turning abstract ideas into something they can see, touch, and understand.
Your child will grow: early number sense · pattern recognition · spatial thinking · problem-solving skills
Little Nature Scientists
Age: 3-5 Time: 9:30 AM - 11.30 AM
Every great scientist starts with a question. In this session, children observe plants, insects, and natural materials up close — comparing colours, textures, and changes, and running age-appropriate experiments with water, wind, light, and plants. It all begins with a simple "I wonder…"
Your child will grow: curiosity · observation skills · inquiry skills · early scientific thinking
Forest Story Theatre
Stories come to life in the forest! Inspired by picture books and the natural world, children step into characters using movement, voice, and action. Through outdoor dramatic play and story games, they create their own tales alongside new friends — finding their voice and their imagination along the way.
Your child will grow: communication · imagination · confidence in expression · collaboration

We are an outdoor program and go outside in most weather. We ensure children come in with appropriate clothing (raincoat, rain pants, rainboots). We monitor forecasts and communicate with families in advance if conditions become unsafe. In these cases, we will move to a community space that is sheltered from the weather.
-
Comfortable outdoor clothing, rain jacket, water bottle, snacks, sunscreen, insect repellent, extra socks and appropriate footwear. A full packing list is sent before the sessions.
