About the program

Halloween Comes to Life Outdoors

Halloween is more than costumes and candy.

At Compass Outdoor, children get to experience the season through stories, imagination, movement, and nature.

Throughout the day, they will listen to stories, create characters, explore the outdoors, and turn their own ideas into games and creative activities.

It is a Halloween experience designed to let children play, explore, imagine, and express themselves.

For Ages 3–6:

Learn Through Stories, Play & Exploration

Younger children learn best when they can move, touch, see, and imagine.

Activities are designed to be simple and playful, giving children opportunities to explore nature, listen to stories, join group games, and express their ideas at their own pace.

They’ll practice:
Observation • Imagination • Communication • Cooperation • Creativity

For Ages 7–12:

Turn Imagination Into Your Own Story

Older children will go a little deeper by connecting outdoor observations with storytelling, character creation, problem-solving, and group activities.

They will be encouraged to share ideas, create stories together, and turn what they discover outdoors into their own creative work.

They’ll practice:
Creative Thinking • Storytelling • Teamwork • Communication • Problem-Solving
