SUMMER CAMP
Summer at Compass is the best part of the year!
Every camp day, curiosity leads the way. Children spend their days exploring Vancouver, connecting with nature and community through visiting parks, beaches, forests, bogs, museums and more! Through intentional storytelling, outdoor play, and creative projects, each week becomes a fully immersive, themed outdoor experience filled with wonder, imagination, and children-led discovery.
Behind every camp day is our caring and experienced Compass team, guiding small groups and creating a space where children feel confident, capable, and free to explore. With close supervision (1:4 ratios) and thoughtful daily routines, every child is supported throughout the day - feeling safe, comfortable, and ready for each new adventure.

FAQ Section
Q1 What ages is the camp for?
A: Our camps are designed for children ages 3–12. We have two levels: Junior Trailblazers (ages 3–6) and Mighty Explorers (ages 7–12).
Q2 What happens if it rains?
A: We are an outdoor program and go outside in most weather. We ensure children come in with appropriate clothing (raincoat, rain pants, rainboots). We monitor forecasts and communicate with families in advance if conditions become unsafe. In these cases, we will move to a community space that is sheltered from the weather.
Q3 What should my child bring?
A: Comfortable outdoor clothing, rain jacket, water bottle, snacks, sunscreen, insect repellent, extra socks and appropriate footwear. A full packing list is sent before the sessions.
Q4 Where does drop-off and pick-up happen?
A: Location maps and meeting points are confirmed by email before each session. We explore multiple locations across the Lower Mainland.
Q5 Is the camp suitable for shy or first-time campers?
A: Absolutely! Our small group format with an experienced Compass team creates a safe, welcoming environment for all children, including those joining for the first time.
